Language: Canada's Window on the World
The Southern Alberta Heritage Language Association (SAHLA) is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to lead, promote and provide resources for the promotion of international languages and cultural education. SAHLA represents community-based language schools teaching over 40 languages, including high-school credit courses to over 7,500 students, both children and adults. Our schools represent over 500 language instructors and principals.

SAHLA provides services to anyone interested in learning an International Language. Our members include community-based language schools, educational institutions, government, business, service agencies and individuals from the community-at-large. Some of our partners include The Canadian Languages Association, Alberta Education, the Calgary Board of Education, The Calgary Catholic School District, The Calgary Public Library and the University of Calgary.
